Dr. Feargal O'Neill, ATPO

Feargal O'Neill​ (PhD) , Managing Director of ATPO, has extensive experience as a psychologist working with children and adults in the education system. 

Feargal also has considerable experience in the management and leadership of small and large teams of professional and administrative staff. 

At senior management level Feargal has been directly responsible for system development and change in a government body in the following areas:

  • Continuing Professional Development 
  • Data Management 
  • Induction Processes 
  • Internal and External Communication 
  • Policies and Protocols 
  • Legal Affairs 
  • Organisational Review 

 


Feargal has wide-ranging expertise in and enthusiasm for successful project management. He also has extensive experience in conference and event management and facilitation. 


At these events he specialises in the area of large-scale group dynamic processes, interactive learning and targeted mindfulness activities. 


Feargal is a group leader  on  the South East Regional Leaders Programme which is aimed at professionals wishing to develop their leadership competencies. 


Feargal is the founding chair and an emeritus director of GIY (GIY is a not for profit social enterprise helping people to grow some of their own food at home, at school, at work and in the community. See www.giyireland.ie ).
